The Lucky Ducky Derby is a fundraising event held annually at the Helen Keller Festival in Spring Park in Tuscumbia, Alabama. The Lucky Ducky Derby raises funds for non-profit organizations in our community while providing contributors to these organizations the opportunity to win one of many fabulous prizes.
How does it work? Your adoption paper has a number on the front cover and on the back cover form. Once you complete the adoption paper form and it is returned to the Tennessee Valley Art Association, your adoption paper number and your information is entered into a computer database. On June 27, 2010 at approximately 3:00 p.m. all the adopted Lucky Ducks will be put in the pond at Spring Park. As the start line is raised, the computer will randomly assign you Lucky Duck numbers for the total number of Lucky Ducks you adopted. The Lucky Duck that has the power to cross the finish line first will win its' "Adopter" the first place prize. Subsequent prizes will be awarded according to order of finish. You do not have to be present to win. |
