The mission of the Tennessee Valley Art Association is to operate and maintain a center for the arts; encourage improvement in the quality of life in northwest Alabama through furthering expression in and appreciative understanding for all the arts; to bring together all persons interested in the arts; to conduct planned programs, demonstrations and exhibitions on various phases of the arts; and provide varied art-educational opportunities for its members and the general public.
